STEP 1:
Domain Check - Check for domain name availability typing a name
you would like to register into the search box. Click the "search" button.
(Your name may contain 67 characters, including the 4 characters for
the extention. Characters are limited to letters, numbers, and hyphens.You
don't need to add the "www".)
You'll next get a page that shows the extensions that are available
for that name. Click the checkbox for the domains you would like best
(or more than one, if you like) and click on the "Register Domains"
link.
This page now shows the domains in your registration list. You can edit
your registration list adding or removing domains before register; once
you're finished click the "next" button.
STEP 2:
Create an Account - In order to register and access your account
manager after the registration, you have to set up an account. This
is free and simple. Just type in a user name and a password, then repeat
the password, then click the "Register" link.
Now that you have selected the appropriate domains, determine how many
years you want to register considering there's a discount for longer
periods. Once you're finished click the "next" button.
STEP 3:
Contact Information - Fill in your contact information clicking
on the link "Create Contact". There are four contacts for
every domain name. The registrant (owner), administrative contact, billing
contact and technical contact. For most, the person registering the
domain name should be all four, but you can change these contacts later
at any time.
STEP 4:
Define Name servers - By default, you don't need to do anything
(just click next), your domain is automatically parked on our future
home web server. This service is free and you can park the domain for
as long as you like, but if you don't wish to park your domain you can
also set your own nameservers or change them later at anytime accessing
your account manager.
STEP 5:
Define Payment Information - Now fill in your credit card informations
and click "Next". Be sure to use the address at which you
receive your credit card statements. If your registration is accepted,
you'll get a confirmation page and an e-mail telling you the domain
has been successfully registered.
OK. Your domain is now registered. It usually takes about 1-2 days for
this information to find its way across the Internet, so be patient.
